OVERVIEW:

Our client is looking for a process engineer to support a capital project at their Massachusetts manufacturing site. The engineer will function as an equipment package owner as well as the primary technical resource for the project and will assist with validation as needed

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The engineer will assist the site engineering team to design a new Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing facility as well as drive the procurement, installation, start-up and commissioning of related equipment.
• Work will include coordination with project stakeholders, equipment vendors, site engineering and automation for deliverables associated with the design of the new facility and associated process equipment/automation. This includes the generation of equipment bid packages (URS’s, Data Sheets, Specifications), functioning as a primary contact for equipment purchasing activities (procurement through delivery) as well as direct support for facility design and construction activities.
• The engineer will provide support for the equipment CQV lifecycle, performing design reviews and risk assessments, creating and executing commissioning protocols and supporting the approval and execution of validation protocols.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive project delivery experience with Isolators, Downflow booths, Material Handling Systems (as they relate to Powders)
• Experience with Granulation Systems (wet and dry), Tablet Compression Systems, Tablet Coaters, Packaging Lines (Primary and Secondary)
• Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) Experience
